your ignorance of the basis for evolution, and indeed science is quite amusing.
It didn't just appear out of nothing, as would have been the case if your god figure created everything, what actually happened was a long series of very small changes which moved things from one state to another state - baby steps, not emormous leaps of faith needed to believe that the spaghetti monster made everything.
If everything is hugely complex then it's creator would need to be hugely complex and hence needing a creator - you shoot yourself in the foot. Bravo.

social conditioning is just that, social. It is the product of media, social norms and educated behaviour; the obvious proof of that is the shift in public opinion towards liberalism over the last 100 years. Your "social conditioner" was the church up until recently and has become society itself with the advent of political correctness. Your questions are pointless and irrelevant; you may as well ask who sets the rules for political correctness, or was that god too?
"Just bloviation and condesension. Please "demonstrate" something, or at least personally testify to something that can be examined. I have no problem with personal testimony.... but you can't seem to provide even that. Everything from you seems to be conceptual rather than practical."
What practical content have you provided? You use sweepingly incorrect generalisation along with straw man arguments and childish rhetoric. You even go so far as to state that "god simply created it", how wonderfully convenient. Lets stop thinking about everything then shall we, god obviously intended things to be the way they are so lets not bother with science or medicine because god obviously intended everyone to die of the flu. You see there are way too many holes for the god theory to stand up, if you think he's so damn wonderful then ask him to explain cancer.

Are you up for the 30 mile challenge?
by Elsewhere in30 miles in 30 days by walking or running.. it will only require you to get out and walk for 15 - 20 minutes each day.
that is all that is required to walk a mile.

I'm running the city to surf in a couple of months and we start training on friday, I just know I am going to puke on the first training session because it's been nearly two years since my fat arse saw the inside of a gym. I've decided that I'm going to give it a best effort to do the 12km run in under an hour and lose 10kg (a stone and a half) by the end of August.

HS, thank you so much for your lucid and even tempered rebuttal of their nonsense. I have just got home from a very long day at work and was not looking forward to the pain of hitting my head against their brick wall of ignorance yet again.
I am currently reading The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins, it is extremely thought provoking and is a must read for anyone with an open mind.

well done, you spotted a couple of spelling mistakes. I'm deeply impressed, this obviously points to us being created by the flying spaghetti monster.
So who created the spaghetti monster?
Nuclear fusion creates dense elements from hydrogen, just as the big bang theory predicts.
I think that Creationists have had a hard time on this thread precisely because of your ill thought out ramblings.

your arguement is fatuous, a star is a very large hydrogen bomb - a hydrogen bomb that creates other more dense elements through nucleur fusion.
What's that sound? it must be your head exploding as your arguement crashes around your ears

what utter rubbish. There can be no such thing as a self existing "first cause", your arguement itself precludes it.
An "ad infinitum digression of cause and effect events", of course, it's what the future and past are madeof.
Where is your prooof of "his handi-work everywhere"? All I see are a vast number of geological and biological interactions which form the work in which we live. I don't need to believe in some phantom spaghetti monster to think our world is wonderful.
Vinny - you are a retard.

Interesting that you should accuse Atheists of circular logic.
If your "god" created the universe, who created god?

The atheist/evolutionist world view is of borne incredible curiosity, whereas the creationist worldview is borne of ignorance and love of ignorance.
What's that? you cannot explain how life came to be? it must be the flying spaghetti monster that created it!
The creationist viewpoint falls down at the basest of levels - if this world and the things in it are so complex and wonderful, surely their creator must be ultimately more complex and wonderful. If so then how did that creator get created, because surely if things that are complex need a creator then the creator itself needed to be intelligently designed.
Evolutionists look at the mountain of complexity of life and look for the small steps taken to move towards that complexity through random selection, creationists look at the mountain of complexity and assume that a god figure bounded from the base to the top.
